This is my little classical thing, it's one of my very first instrumentals I wrote. I've had this intro riff laying around for a long time.
I wrote this piece after listening to a lot of Mozart & Jason Becker, with an influence from classical melodies, arpeggios,voice-leading and chord movement.
Jason Becker was the person who made me want to be a musician ( beside Marty Friedman ).
The main theme of this piece came to me every morning and it took a lot of concentration not to forget it , then I put it all on tape.
 
I wanted it to have orchestral sounds , so I use my 'Midi Orchestrator Plus' sequencer to arrange it. Lots of guys are into the classical thing, but they just play a minor scale and think that's a classical tune. This is a major stuff and I think this is the real classical tune! :)
 
There's plenty of stuff to read while listening..........
 
The piece begins with timpani,oboe,flute & string ensemble, playing counter-lines in C major. Violin & cello enters in bar 12 , playing a simple theme outlining the repeated changes from C major to F major then to D minor and G major.
 
The next 8 bar section features flute solo. Piano enters in bar 28 at the key-change to E flat major which resolve to C minor (relative minor). Then trumpet enters in bar 36 and harp enters in bar 44.
 
The key-change to C major again in bar 48 with horn solo. The tune ends at the key-change to G minor with harp solo, trumpet, flute, oboe, bassoon and koto then back to key of C major again.

This piece is dedicated to the memory of my lovely mother ( 1933 - Nov 24th 1997 ) and Jason Becker who was crippled because of his ALS disease!
