I love the way she uses the white violin for the "faster, and upbeat" music, and uses the classical violin for what it is to be used for. I have a Vitar electric violin, they were made in Boston, MA in the early 70's, but Vitar's are not made now. I was not happy with the sound so I modified mine and added a Barcus-Berry pickup to the bridge to round out the sound of the magnetic pick-up. My full time job is electronics circuit design and engineering, so that helps me on the music side to get the sound that I want. Anyway, the Vitar is a little heavier in weight then I would like, so I am looking into the Jensen electric violin. What do you think of the Jensen violin? Message to Vanessa-Mae: I heard one of your CD's at a freinds house and I really liked what I heard. Only thing I am not sure which album it was. You have incredible talent!
